Leon & Rebecca Stevenson

As Leon serves as Lead Pastor, both he and Rebecca desire to use the gifts of teaching, discipleship, and evangelism to further the purposes of Christ. They hope to see Detroit transformed both spiritually and physically.

Kevin Fukala

Pastor Kevin, his wife Monica, daughter Evie Rose , and dog Big Mack now reside in the 48214. Pastor K enjoys intense workouts, reading, music, good coffee, good food, training his dog, spending quality time with his family, and going on family vacations.

Kimberly Ratcliff

Kimberly came to MACC in 2022 with her Husband, Joseph, and their two daughters, Hannah Renee and Ida Belle. Joseph's history with MACC and Pastor Leon, dating back to his college days, drew them to the church. They have enjoyed being a part of the MACC family. Kimberly joined the staff in October of 2023, as Ginny was leaving in preparation for the arrival of the twins.

Jonny Hui

Jonny has been a part of MACC since 2011, when he moved to Detroit as a high school social studies teacher at Denby High School. He has served in various roles in school district and nonprofit leadership since. He and his wife Ginny have lived in the Pingree Park neighborhood since 2016. They love to host barbecues, explore the outdoors, travel, and cook.

Ken Morgan

Ken is a Navy Veteran who served 8 years as a medical Corpsman in Desert Storm. Ken Along with his wife Robin and their children moved back to Detroit, where he was born, in 2011 to start a new chapter in their life. They joined MACC and were happy to find a diverse teaching church with a strong heart to pour into its neighborhood. In 2015 after buying a house in the neighborhood to restore, he and his family were featured in National Geographic as one of the families restoring in Detroit to help bring back the city. Ken became a licensed contractor in 2017 and started Dream Builders LLC. He sits on the board of We Are Green, too, a non-profit green building materials business. In 2018 He helped co-author The Black Male Equity Initiative Anthology, a book on black men building a wealth legacy. He spreads God's Word in truth as he works with veterans and young neighborhood men he trains in his trade. God has also given him a heart to work with our youth as a coach in both MACC Sports and at PAL football. He is excited to mentor our youth as they come up in God's Word.

Gary Miller

Gary Miller was born and raised in Detroit. He loves raising his beautiful daughter and helping people grow and serve Jesus. He graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelors in psychology, and now works with at-risk youth. He has attended MACC since 2012, and serves on the Worship and Deacon Teams.

Deaconess | Fellowship & Outreach

Kelly Drenth

Kelly has been a member of MACC and proud Detroit resident since 2019. She enjoys all things creative - especially photography, crochet, and dancing - and looks forward to finding creative ways to foster fellowship within the church body. Most weekends, she and her husband Andrew can be found cheering for MSU, taking a spin around Belle Isle, or playing with their spunky pup, Spooky.

Hannah Kuperus

Hannah moved to Detroit in 2015 to work with an early childhood intervention program. The following year she transitioned to working in the child welfare field where she works to increase positive outcomes for children experiencing significant life events. Hannah enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, walks around the neighborhood, and learning new things.

Tammy Tocco

Tammy moved to Detroit in 2008 to be part of the vision given to MACC in the 48214. She is the mother to Elianna, Gabriella and Anthony. As she grows in light of who God has created & called her to be, she enjoys sharing that with others and encouraging them to do so as well.

Maggie Lovallo

Maggie Lovallo has lived in Detroit and been a member at MACC since 2014, alongside husband James and their two young boys. She has loved seeing what God has done in Detroit and is excited to see what else He has in store for this community. She serves the City of Detroit at work and is looking forward to caring for the community by being a deaconess.

Robin Morgan

Robin and her family moved to Detroit in 2011 from Middlesex VA and joined MACC in October of the same year. She has been working for MACC Development for 3 years as a community engagement coordinator. She loves being able to serve and get to know all her neighbors in the 48214. She is very involved in MACC sports and was honored to become a Deacon at the end of 2022. She hopes to continue to make our neighborhood a thriving place to come to.

Laura Demers

Laura has enjoyed serving at MACC since 2011. Her husband Jonathan and three kids, Martyn, William, and Sophia live in the neighborhood and truly enjoy Detroit as their home. Their yard is usually full of neighbors playing on the swingset, drawing with chalk, or kicking a soccer ball around. Laura is a nurse by trade, but is currently enjoying spending lots of time at home with the kids and volunteering with Martyn's kindergarten class. Laura enjoys reading, hiking, and coffee with friends.

Natasha Walker

Natasha has been a member of MACC since 2017. She currently lives in Detroit with her husband Kyle and their daughter, Mila. Natasha worked in the automotive industry as a production operator for 10 years and is now a nursing student at Wayne State University. She hopes to use her role as a representative of Christ and as a health care professional to care for people in their most vulnerable and difficult moments. She has a love for music, reading, fellowship with friends and her pup, Terrence the dog. Natasha serves on the musical worship team, the spiritual gifts team and the Women's Leadership Council.

Megan Hogle

Megan has been a member at MACC since 2012 where she faithfully serves on the praise and worship team as well as the WLC. She is passionate about advocating for women in the church and in the surrounding community. Megan is a graphic designer by trade, a lover of nature, and a voracious reader. She lives in a nearby Detroit neighborhood with her husband, Bryan, and their two young daughters.
